 Hello All!

Some interesting news today - I have been lent a pyrography tool/implement/device thingy, so come next week I will hopefully be acquiring a new string to my bow in the shape of decorated wooden items - plaques, keyfobs, etc etc - with all sorts of pagan-influenced ornamentation such as takes my fancy!

Been practising doodling with it, and it's really fun to use - now I'm spending the time waiting for my blank items to arrive by devising some nice patterns and designs.

So watch this space for further developments!

Oh and I've finished two lovely new dolls today! No photos yet as it's really dark and rainy in spite of it only being 6-15pm - will try and get some done tomorrow. Suffice it to say one doll is dark haired and wearing mauvy tie dye velvet, and the other is a redhead in a lush olive green velvet. They are really pretty, even if I say so myself ;-)

Bright Blessings

I DONE IT!! YAY!!

Still in abit of a fuzzy cloud, but last night I completed the Midnight to Sunrise Walk - well me and almost 1,849 other women that is!

What a fantastic experience, and what a great way to observe the Midsummer Solstice too - beautiful full moon in full view all the way, till the dawn broke to display the most beautiful clouds of peach and gold filling the sky. Magical!

Here's me and my niece Amber at the finishing line, 3.40 am - tired but happy! And just what are those little eyes peeping through her halo? Certainly no-one and nothing behind us at the time! Spooky!

A massive thankyou to everyone on the night for making it such a great experience! Especially the smiley stewards, the hooting cheering boy racers of Fenton,  Debbie of Fitness First for the fab massage and all my sponsors! see you all next year!

Best wishes and Solstice Blessings to all! xxxxxxxxx
